The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The company issue created for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to permit the sassa servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
